On March 24th, the press conference of the 14th China CNC Machine Tool Exhibition (CCMT2026) was held in Shanghai. At the press conference, Secretary General Mao Yufeng of the Machine Tool Association and Vice President Gu Chunting of the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade delivered speeches respectively, while Executive Vice Chairman Wang Liming of the Machine Tool Association made a press release.
Mao Yufeng reviewed the economic operation of the machine tool industry in 2025, looked forward to the development trend in 2026, introduced the background of the CCMT2026 exhibition, and extended a sincere invitation to friends in the media industry. Gu Chunting introduced the development of Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd. and the process of cooperating with the China Machine Tool and Tool Industry Association to hold the CCMT exhibition. Wang Liming introduced that CCMT2026 will use the Shanghai New International Expo Center, with all 17 indoor exhibition halls (E1-E7, N1-N5, W1-W5) and one temporary hall (ON6), with a total exhibition area of 202000 square meters. It will become the largest professional exhibition of machine tools in Asia this year.
More than 2000 machine tool companies from 27 countries and regions will compete on CCMT2026. In the overseas exhibition area, machine tool industry associations and trade promotion organizations from 10 countries and regions, including Germany, Japan, Switzerland, the United States, South Korea, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong, organized exhibition groups. Renowned machine tool companies from around the world will bring their latest technologies and products to the event. The proportion of overseas exhibition area and number of exhibitors exceeds 30%.
