China successfully launched a new group of low Earth orbit satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province on Sunday. The satellite group, the fifth of its kind that will constitute an internet constellation, lifted off at 6:03 p.m. (Beijing Time) aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket. The satellites entered the preset orbit successfully.
The cargo spacecraft will be launched in the near future at an appropriate time, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
